Be aware that computers might be less precise than you believe, and use the "Calibrate" tool from the "Options" menu, especially if you compare results from different computers.

If you need absolutely perfect results for long durations, you should rely on special hardware devices rather than a Windows computer.


The calibration tool assumes that the tick count of the hardware has a continuously growing deviation from an external source that you want to use as reference. As long as your computer behaves like this, you will get fine results using this method.
